  • Norwegian voted Best in Europe at prestigious Passenger Choice Awards

    Norwegian, the world’s fastest-growing airline, won two prestigious Passenger Choice Awards at the annual ​APEX Awards Ceremony last night during the ​APEX EXPO in Portland, Oregon. The airline won the categories Best in Region: Europe and Best In-flight Publication, for N by Norwegian Magazine. It was the second year in a row Norwegian was named Best in Region: Europe by passengers.

  • Norwegian increases frequent flyer incentives for corporate customers

    Low-cost airline Norwegian has increased the amount of rewards companies can earn on all flights. Flights to long-haul destinations are also now included for the first time offering a huge boost to business travellers using Norwegian’s links to key business destinations like New York, LA and Boston.

  • Norwegian increases its long-haul fleet and acquires two new Dreamliners

    Norwegian has signed an agreement to acquire an additional two new Boeing 787-9 Dreamliners, enabling the company to launch even more long-haul routes. Both aircraft are scheduled to enter service in summer 2017. The 787-9 is larger than the eight 787-8s that Norwegian currently operates on its long-haul routes. With this new agreement, the long-haul fleet will consist of 19 Dreamliners by 2018.

  • Norwegian launch the UK’s cheapest flight to Boston at £149

    Low-cost airline Norwegian has today put on sale the UK’s cheapest flights to Boston with fares from £149 one way. The brand new flights went on sale at www.norwegian.com and will offer the only direct link between London Gatwick and Boston Logan – launching on 13 May 2016.

  • Norwegian reports passenger and load factor records in July

    Norwegian reports a continued passenger growth in July. The airline sets new passenger record with nearly 2.7 million travellers in July, the highest number ever in a single month. July was also characterised by considerable holiday traffic in all markets and a record high load factor of 94 percent.

  • Norwegian boosts its Reward scheme for frequent flyers

    Norwegian, recently voted ‘Europe’s best low cost airline’ and the ‘World’s best low cost long-haul airline’, has announced that members of its popular ‘Norwegian Reward’ loyalty programme can now collect CashPoints up to 30 days after departure.

  • Norwegian reports strong improvement in earnings and record high load factor

    Norwegian (NAS) today reported its second quarter results for 2015. The pre-tax result (EBT) was 456 MNOK, an improvement of 593 MNOK from the previous year. The load factor for this period was 85 percent with strong progress in all of Norwegian’s markets. This also applies to the long-haul operation, where the the passenger number has more than doubled since the same period last year.

  • Norwegian reports record high load factors in June

    Norwegian reports a continued passenger growth and a record-high load factor of 88 percent for the month of June. The positive trend is a combination of solid growth on the long-haul operation and many sun-seeking Scandinavians during June.

  • Norwegian Launches Flights from the US to the Caribbean

    Norwegian will launch flights from Boston, Baltimore/Washington, D.C. and New York City to two Caribbean destinations: the Guadeloupe Islands and Martinique. Only two years after launching its long-haul operation, Norwegian will now be the largest foreign airline at New York’s JFK airport in terms of number of routes. The airline currently offers 31 direct routes from the US.
