Norwegian (NAS) today reported its May traffic results. More than 1.5 million passengers flew with the company in May, up 12 percent compared to the same month previous year. 92 percent of the flights departed on time, making Norwegian one of the most punctual airlines in the world in May.
Norwegian has signed an agreement to lease two additional Boeing 787-8 Dreamliners for its future long-haul operations. The company has previously entered into agreements to purchase three and lease three aircraft of the same type, securing a delivery of a total of eight Dreamliners. The Dreamliner is a plane for the future, with high passenger comfort, low operating costs and reduced emissions.

Boeing’s new long-haul aircraft, the 787 Dreamliner, visits Norway and Scandinavia for the first time on May 1. The visit is a part of the aircraft’s world tour – The 787 Dream Tour – where Norwegian’s future customers and partners have the opportunity to experience the airplane up close.
